Reel mower blades are ground-driven by the wheels turning. There is no option to disengage the reel blades when pulling the mower from the shed to the mowing area. The mascot lever lift frame solves that problem.

Have a golf course-manicured lawn without investing in expensive mowing equipment. Pulls easily behind 10 HP+ tow vehicles or one-horse pony carts. Recommended speeds are between 2.5 to 4 miles per hour.
Our Amish reel gang mowers use heat-treated, hardened bed knives and reels. Height-adjustable from about 0.5” to 3”, making them perfect for Southern short-grass Bermuda lawns.
Trailing gang reel mowers are equipped with double pin-style hitches, allowing the heads to float along the lawn. Cuts a 58” path.
Reel mowers are not for every mowing solution. They do not perform well in weeds with thick stems, in fields with soil mounds, or in timbered areas with dense leaves and debris. They will also bog down in deep grass over 3 inches.
The Mascot reel mowers are made in China under strict guidelines set by the Amish company, which personally inspects, sharpens, and tunes each one before it ships to a customer. Clipper mowers are all made in the USA.
Mascot reel mowers feature:

The Clipper Reel Mower is the Cadillac-Mercedes of reel mowers. It is all USA-made by the Amish using USA-made parts. The reel has riveted blades, and the bed-knife is higher-quality US steel and extra-tempered for the longest cutting sharpness. The Bed-Knife and spiral reels were patterned from the vintage Scotts Silent mowers. It is also the most expensive reel mower. Despite the price, it is also the most popular among the Amish and non-Amish. Clipper is our best seller.
Mascot Silent Reel Mowers use all imported parts and are assembled overseas. It is strictly quality-controlled by an Amish company that personally inspects, sharpens, and tunes each one before it ships to a customer. The Amish company developed it from the vintage Scotts Silent mowers. Many of the parts will interchange with the old Scott mowers. It is a popular mower, with high satisfaction among both Amish and non-Amish who are looking for long-term durability and performance. We received numerous calls asking why we did not carry Mascot Mowers, so we decided to review them and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. We categorize it as a Buick reel mower, and it is priced in the mid-range of Amish reel mowers.
The shipping cost is not included. Priced F.O.B. Adams County, Indiana. The shipping calculator will show a zero F.O.B. Shipping Deposit, which does not indicate free shipping. We can arrange pickup or obtain a palletized shipping quote. A commercial or business address without a lift gate will be the most economical. Truck freight rates range from $ 175 to $300+, depending on your location and delivery address.
A note on returns: Reel mowers are not for every yard, as they have height restrictions on the grass they can cut without bogging down, and they do not perform well with sticks, stems, rocks, or dirt mounds.
We offer a 30-day return policy for our products. Realizing that if one were to be returned, reselling it to another customer would require a discount for the used condition. Thus, a 25% restocking fee would need to be discounted from any refunds for a return. The original shipping cost cannot be refunded either.
