Description / Tool Battery Sewing Serger Machine
The perfect off-grid sewing solution for those wanting to use a standard-size sewing serger machine for serious sewing without resorting to a generator or other off-grid power supply.
The American Home sewing machine company has a rich history and reputation for building quality sewing machines dating back to the mid-1800s.
The American Home AH100 Serger has become a popular serger machine for sewing blind and rolled hems, elastic, and making decorative seams. The machine receives high reviews and has many of the same capabilities of much more expensive sergers. It is 12” wide and 9-1/2” deep and weighs 19 lbs. (not including tool battery) making it perfect for stationary use or portable enough to take on the road.
The creative Amish have now converted it to hold a self-contained tool battery from one of three of the most popular portable power tool manufacturers for off-grid use. Battery packs insert in the back of the machine. Battery packs or chargers are not included. Must use either a 20V Dewalt/18V Milwaukee or an 18V Makita. Select the model using the drop-down boxes.
Husbands should be aware that your wife may be lurking in your workshop and your tool power battery packs may come up missing.
