Maytag Wringer Washer Power Unit Parts

It would be data prohibitive to list each individual part with shipping. Therefore, shipping & handling is based on an average purchase of a few parts. We do charge a minimum $12 flat base rate on all items regardless of the size. This is to cover the cost to process, pack, drop-ship, and actual shipping charges.

Additional shipping may be required for larger orders. We will let you know if additional shipping will be needed. If you checkout using PayPal we can send you an invoice if needed. Otherwise, we will also need to have credit card information as our system does not store it with the order.

A4820 Larger oil seal for old transmission pulley shaft-worm gear 1-1/4" O.D. Seal (For 1-1/8" O.D. Seal use 15339, 99% will use this).

A4825 O-Ring for Shifter Cam, 95% of the time this is all that you will need, and reuse the washers

15339 Pulley-Worm Shaft Seal (This is for 1-1/8" pulley shaft used on 99% of machines) For older 1-1/4" Shaft use A4820.

15339 Shaft Seal is an all-in-one equivalent to A5042 kit that  will replace 15685, 15409, 15341, 15409, 15339, and 15410. The new seal just presses in no snap-ring is needed.

The Amish depended on these old wringer washers as most of the United States population did in the early 1900s until newer modern spin cycle machines were developed. As manufacturing and replacement parts moved forward the Amish began to have difficulty in obtaining parts to maintain the wringer washers. So, they began manufacturing their own supply of replacement Maytag parts as they still do today. Cottage Craft Works.com takes a step back in time to help people who are still using or restoring the vintage home and farm equipment needing replacement parts.

The washer parts listed are the most sought-after Maytag parts. Our Amish shop can procure or make just about any part that was used on the round or square tub machines. Since the Amish convert most of the machines to gas, air, or DC-driven motors they don’t manufacture new electric motors. They also don’t use the drain pump allowing the washer to gravity drain instead. If you should need an electric motor or water pump, we can find you a used take-off. Just email us for the availability of any parts that we don’t list.

International customers, please email us with the parts that you need, and we will calculate the shipping cost and send you a PayPal invoice in US Dollars. Duties and taxes will still be due to your country upon delivery.

Parts ship directly from an Amish-owned business without computers, please expect some orders to take up to two weeks to ship. Most parts are stocked but some may need to be made.
