When the raised panel doors are closed this unit appears to be a sideboard or chest to fit into your decor.
Choose door design options between the standard raised panel (pictured), shaker style, or mission style. The Mission and shaker style will have a surcharge. Use the drop-down box to select the different options. (Pictured Left to Right, Arch Top Style, Mission Style, Shaker Style, Standard Raised Panel Style).
The sewing machine pushes down into the cabinet using a German-made airlift allowing the top to be closed.
The standard sewing machine airlift is rated for up to 50 lbs. This lift will accommodate machines up to 14-1/2" tall.
If you have or have future plans for a next-generation sewing machine such as the Bernina 7 series requiring at least 15” space or up to 60 lbs., you will need to upgrade to the extra tall heavy-duty lift. The extra-tall lift will handle machines up to 16-1/2” tall.
Both lifts allow adjustable levels for both tabletop and flatbed sewing. The distance that the lift travels down into the cabinet is also adjustable for a shorter machine now and a taller machine down the road.
Select Larger Machine Modifications to select a larger kneehole with or without the taller lift option.
The deluxe cabinet also includes a serger compartment with a 12" x 14" serger platform which folds for storage. The cabinet features a slide-out wall for spools of thread and four different sized drawers; 1 drawer measuring 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" x 14" and 3 drawers measuring 6-1/4 x 8-1/2" x 14".
The cabinet is built with a standard raised door to match the open drawer fronts.
The cabinet drawers are built using handcrafted dovetail joinery and are equipped with high-end ball-bearing drawer glides.
The Standard Deluxe Cabinet measures 56"L x 31"H x 20" D (Closed) 79"L x 31"H x 20" D (Open) Add 6" to the overall length if the cabinet is built to accommodate larger embroidery machines.
All CCW custom sewing cabinets include the sewing machine template and casters for easy pull out away from the wall.
Cabinets are built one at a time with each order making it easy to customize or reconfigure to your needs, just drop us an e-mail with your custom request. A simple change such as reversing the drawers or Serger compartment to accommodate a left-hand person can usually be accomplished with a slight upcharge.
The standard kneehole is 20" and will accommodate most standard size machines in the 14"-18" width range. If you have a larger embroidery machine this cabinet will need to be stretched in width to provide a 26" kneehole. This is just for the base of the machine to fit down into the cabinet. Removable embroidery arms used after the machine is up at tabletop height do not need to be considered in measuring the base width. There is an upcharge for this modification.

Amish sewing machine cabinets will generally take 6-8 weeks to build and ship. These small Amish shops do at times become overloaded with seasonal orders. Overall, in the years that we have been selling these cabinets we have had two cabinets from this builder that went much longer to build and ship. Each cabinet is handcrafted for quality and not mass production speed. Call us if you would like to know the current build time.
You may pick the cabinet up in Northern Indiana; select F.O.B. for no shipping charge.
We utilize insured professional blanket wrap Amish furniture haulers that cover 95% of the Continental US with inside delivery for only $400. The exception might be a remote location at the extreme tip of let’s say a state like Michigan, Main, Florida, or some other location that is difficult to maneuver into for a delivery.
These companies make monthly runs with scheduled pickup dates. We coordinate with the cabinet builders around these pickup dates to ship your cabinet as soon as it’s completed and can be picked up by the hauling company.
Select F.O.B if you live close to Northern Indian and would like to pick the cabinet up at the Amish shop.
Select a $400 shipping deposit for in-home delivery. We will notify you should there be an issue with delivery to your location before we process the order.
