White Mountain Fiberglass Replacement Tub

Designed to replace White Mountain 6 qt. tubs measuring 11-5/8" Diameter x 14-1/2" high. The 8 qt tub is designed to replace a 13-1/4" Diameter x 16-1/4" high. White Mountain Freezers manufactured before the 70s may have a slightly wider tub that will not work with these replacement tubs. Please measure before ordering. The Immergood tubs used for replacements will come with a special tub ear to fit your White Mountain motors or hand crank gear frames. They will be slightly larger than your original White Mountain tubs because they are filled with foam for better insulating qualities. 

Most motors drop in without any issues on the 6 qt freezers. We have found that some of the White Mountain motors for the 6-qt freezers varied and will not latch without some modification to the motor ear. It seems the motors that are more of the dull blueish green versus the newer brighter kelly green are the ones that vary the most. We have not been made aware of any problems with the older cream color motors fitting as long as the old tub is 11-5/8" in diameter for the motor to bridge across the top and fit into the tub ear and latch. The molding process for tub tops where the tub latch fits sometimes may vary enough that the motor ear sits too high for the cam latch to close. In either case, the motor ear will need to be filed down slightly for the latch to clear and lock the motor in place.

Please note on the 8-qt White Mountain freezers the tub ear and tub latch may need to be adjusted, or ground out some to fit your freezer head, and or the tub center may need to be sanded down or shimmed up to fit the height of the freezer cans. These old freezers varied some over the years.

Also available for White Mountain 4-qt freezers. When ordering a tub for the 4-qt White Mountain Freezer the same 6-qt will be shipped adapted with a taller tub center to make up the 1" shorter height of the freezer can. Please verify your 4-qt tub is 11-5/8" diameter x 13-1/2" tall.

Tub latches are made like the old swivel window locks to keep your frame gear locked down and in place. (see picture)
