Wagon, Pony, Cart, Weldable Stub Axle
Versatile weldable 12” stub axle to use with our wooden spoke roller bearing wheels. Stub axles are available in either a 1” square axle stub turned down to a 7/8” diameter or a 7/8” square turned down to a ¾” diameter axle with threaded ends and locking crown nuts.
These axles will accept up to a 3-1/2” hub wheel with the threaded part extending past the hub to tighten down the crown nut.

Stub axles may be added to any width of wagon, pony, cart, or in building replica old-time carts and wagons by welding them to the ends of your own central axle or frame. This makes them a versatile option for building restricted wagons and carts that fit through a range of gate and barn door widths.
