To operate, simply attach a nylon rope to the inlet hole on the lever. Pulling the rope releases the mechanism, which automatically springs back to the locked position. Note that for optimal functionality, you may need additional pulleys to align the rope pull with the hitch mechanism (extra hardware not included).
The system is built to fit up to a 3/4” hitch pin and includes two 1/2” mounting holes along with a 1” hole towards the back for easy installation. Lightweight yet sturdy, it weighs only 11.59 lbs., making it easy to mount and handle.
