These old-fashioned style blue stipe 8" bowls add charm to a farmhouse-style kitchen decor. They are beautiful and functional, just as the original blue stripe bowls were made and used in simpler times. You may add color and personalized messages to use in other decors.
Like the originals, these bowls will likely become family heirlooms. Custom hand-painting options are also available. The 8" size is ideal for whipping up small batches of mixes or for use as a serving bowl. The bowl is hand-turned to an approximate depth of 3-1/2". This bowl can also be used in the oven to bake beans and other hot dishes.

Description / USA Stoneware Pottery | 8 Inch Deep Bowl | Blue Stripe
Our 8" bowl measures approximately 8" across and about 3-1/2" deep and holds about 6 cups or around 1-1/2 quarts of liquid.
We also have the bowl in our three-bowl set, along with 10” and 12” bowls.
Stoneware is lead-free and microwave-, oven-, and dishwasher-safe. The pottery is durable and functional for everyday use.
The standard color is priced in a blue stripe. You can select other colors using the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Some colors are hand-painted and signed by the artist. Please note: the rooster, red apple, and summer splendor design is a decal and is not hand-painted. The Poppy Seed design will feature flowers in both blue and peach, arranged on opposite sides of the stoneware.

Depending on its position in the kiln, the actual white color may range from cream to white, with a grayish hue or even a tan/beige tone. Another characteristic of old-fashioned hand-turned pottery.

The standard blue stripe may take 3-4 weeks to ship. Most colors, including white and personalized items, are custom-made to order and may take approximately 8 weeks to ship.
Stoneware Pottery is USA-made in Texas by a small family-owned and operated pottery company, which has been making quality pottery for over 22 years. Each piece is hand-turned by a master potter, hand-painted or finished, and then coated with a lead-free glaze.
Because pottery is hand-turned, dimensions may vary slightly. Stoneware pottery may also develop small imperfections during firing and glazing. All food contact surfaces are inspected for such imperfections before shipping. The exterior may have imperfections that enhance the stoneware's character.
