Like the Clipper Reel Mowers, the grass catcher is made in the USA by Amish craftsmen to last for years. Rear rollers outlast typical grass catchers that drag along the ground.
Spring wire frame fits all sizes (17”, 19”, 21”) Clipper Reel Mowers, making it easy to disconnect from the mower for emptying and quickly reattaching to the mower. Does not easily fit the Mascot 18" Reel Mowers.

The Clipper Reel Mowers are the Cadillac of reel mowers. These heavy-duty mowers are patterned after the old Scotts Silent Reel Mowers, which were considered one of the best reel mowers ever made. The Amish, who maintain a self-sufficient lifestyle, as in the 1900s, still depend on the old-fashioned quality products made during that era.
As manufacturing shifted to imported, lower-cost products to satisfy the discount-store craze and Wall Street profits, those products began to disappear from the Amish market. As the Amish did with many vintage products, they began manufacturing their own for use in Amish communities nationwide. Many parts for the Clipper Mowers will fit the old Scotts Silent Reel Mowers. The USA-made grass catcher will also fit the 21" Mascot mowers, but it will be more difficult on the 18" Mascot mowers.
The Amish aren’t focused on corporate profits; instead, they focus on making products that can be passed down to the next generation.
