Tool battery Adapter- lights, Bicycle, Dirt Bike, ATV
See and be seen with this Bike Buddy tool battery adapter pack. Select from Dewalt, Makita, and Milwaukee 18- and 20-volt tool battery adapters. Allows you to use automotive and farm super-bright LED lights and light bars instead of those low-powered battery-operated bicycle lights. (Lights are not included)
Perfect for not only bicycles but also any dirt bike, ATV vehicle, or work equipment that does not generate its own power for lights and accessories.
Features two separate circuits with push-button switches for lights or 12-volt accessories such as phone chargers and dash cameras, with a total Amp draw of up to 3 A. The pictured lights, wiring, and brackets are not included and are examples of what can be done with the adapter and mounting kit.

Description / Tool battery Adapter- lights, Bicycle, Dirt Bike, ATV
The Bike Buddy will include a tool battery block, precisely machined to fit your specified battery. The back of the block will be left open and must be mounted on the mounting plate included in the mounting kit.
The unit will be equipped with crimp wire connectors, two hot red wires (+), and one black neutral wire (-).
The Buddy Block is equipped with a special power board to protect against overloads, overheating, shorts, and arcs.
The mounting kit includes the mounting plate, screws, and two radiator-hose-style clamps with a rubber strip, designed to securely fasten to any size bike frame tubing. On a male bike, it can be mounted on the crossbar from the seat to the handlebar stem, and or on a male or female motorcycle on the main tube that holds the seat stem. You will want a mounting position within easy reach of the two-sided push-button switches.
Made in the USA by the Amish, who use and depend on bicycles for trips to town and work. We also offer similar tool battery kits for buggies and wagons, including turn signal switches.
The new-generation LED lights draw a low current from the battery pack. An 800-1200 lumen LED headlight and an LED truck clearance light draw less than 1 A, so you should be able to run for up to 50 hours on a single charge. The bike buddy is rated for up to 3 A at 16–20 V, so LED lights and low-amp-draw accessories are a must. Older incandescent lights will exceed the Amp capacity.
Even though the bicycle battery-powered lights claim they produce high LED Lumens, their small flashlight-sized lenses don’t flood out a vast area in front and side to side of the bike like a 3” round or square LED utility light used on-farm and work equipment.
Electrical conduit standoff bracket hangers are available in sizes from ½” to 1-1/2”. They are equipped with a mounting hole and a bar clamp, making them a perfect light-mount holder for securing stud-mounted headlights to handlebars and bike frames.
A low-battery sensor beeps when the battery is nearing a low state of charge. Use with tool batteries and charges that you may already have in your garage or workshop.
