This is not a seen-on-TV gimmick lantern. These lanterns are assembled in the US by and used by Amish families living self-sufficient off-the-grid lifestyles. The Amish build durable, long-lasting structures because they depend on them.
These lanterns are a perfect alternative for lighting closets or other areas of the home, as well as for outdoor structures that need additional lighting when adding a light fixture becomes cost-prohibitive or not feasible.

Description / SunArc LED Rechargeable 12-Volt Lamp-Lantern
Traditional-sized bulb screw base allows 12-volt LED bulbs up to 20 watts, including dimmable bulbs. A dimmable bulb lets you adjust the brightness from low to full. Bulbs are not included in the price; order using the drop-down menu.
The handle bail lets you hang the lantern upright from a ceiling to bounce light, or flip it over to hang with the bulb down, illuminating equivalent areas to a 60-watt incandescent bulb when used with a 15-watt LED bulb. Use with locally purchased clip-on shade (not included) as a table lamp.
Pull-chain switch with an extra string for tall ceilings, or add keychain lengths to extend for higher ceilings.
The digital display provides charge levels. Rated at 15 hours run time with a 10-watt bulb.
Sun Arc multi-use, handy, high-impact poly lantern base houses a rechargeable 12-volt, 12AH Miller Tech deep-cycle Lithium-iron phosphate battery (12AH/8D). A carry bail, like a traditional lantern, can be hung up to cast a bright light on chores.
The base measures 3-1/4” x 7-3/4” tall without a bulb and approx. 12” tall with the 15-watt dimmable LED bulb. Weighs 3 lbs. 14.2 OZ

The charge port requires a female 12–14-volt DC Power Connector with a 2.5 mm diameter and 5.5 mm outer diameter. Purchase a charging station using the drop-down boxes. If purchasing several lanterns, you will likely only need one charging station.
