Steel Spoke-Rim Wagon Wheel
Brand new Amish USA-made authentic vintage steel spoke & rim wagon wheel. A 28” x 5-1/2” wide wheel redesigned to use modern standard stocked roller bearings on an automotive 1-3/4” straight spindle. Steel spokes are ½” thick, hot forged into a cast-iron hub and on to a ¼” rim with tension on every spoke.
Use on reproduction horse-drawn farm wagons, restoring antique farm implements, and modern-day wagons needing flat-free tires to roll over sharp and thorny surfaces.
Used on 12000 lb. capacity wagons. USA-made for Amish farms using horse-drawn implements.
Use to build a wagon wheel of outdoor furniture or other western-farm-themed outdoor décor.

Description / Steel Spoke-Rim Wagon Wheel
The wheel comes outfitted with standard automotive #14276 and #332 roller-bearing tapered races. You will need standard automotive 14137A Outer Bearing, 342A Inner Bearing, and 204035 Seal. Not included in the price of the wheel. These are readily available at auto part stores, or you may add them to the wheel purchase. An optional 68-130 bolt-on hubcap is also available to hide and protect bearings. Select the bearing and seal kit and/or hubcap using the drop-down box.
Hard-to-find authentic metal-spoke steel wheels will enhance your antique restoration or reproduction of farming equipment and wagons. These old-fashioned wagon wheels are being reproduced for actual working use on Amish farms that still use draft-horse-drawn implements. They have only been improved from the original wheels to use modern roller bearings.
