Replacement inverted cabinet hinge #126-4. This is a hideaway sewing machine cabinet with head pin hinges. Used in vintage sewing machine cabinets to hold vintage machines like Sears Kenmore, White, Necchi, and Stradivari.
Four screw mounting spacing of 1-1/4” x ½”. Includes the screws. Requires a ¼” notch cut if installed in a new cabinet. The ¼” pin is tapered to allow the set screws to lock it in place and hold it against the back of the sewing machine.
Please measure your old hinges, as we have found some of the newer cabinets have slightly different spacing. Ours, per the picture, will have a 3/8" center-to-center of the inlet to the stud, 1-1/4" from the front to the center of the stud, and an overall 1" x 1-7/8" base. These hinges are universal to fit either Right or Left. One of our customers said that he had dedicated Right and Left Hinges and had to make a new notch on one side, so please check before ordering.
