Reproduction Goat Wagons
Our Authentic Goat Wagons are reproductions of the antique goat wagons being imported from European countries. Some may call these pumpkin wagons.
These carts were used in old-world countries and are still being used today in underdeveloped countries to carry produce to market and to return with other supplies to the homestead.
These goat carts were primarily used where larger wagons and horses were not affordable or practical. Wagons such as these were the main transportation mode for many rural farmers; they would either pull them by hand or walk alongside and pulled them with goats.

Goat wagons are custom-made per order. Please expect about 6-8 weeks for them to be built and shipped.
Americans have been using these as décor accents, for both exterior and interior, including adding your own glass tops and using them for coffee and end tables. For exterior displays, these goat carts are most popular during the fall to display pumpkins and colorful squash.

We offer two sizes of Goat Carts:
Our medium measures 33” long X 26” wide X 22” high. The inside of the bed measures 10" wide x 24" long. The top rail is 13" tall and flares out to 18-1/2 wide across the top of the wagon.
Our large measures 42” long X 31-1/2” wide X 28” high. The inside of the bed measures 13-1/2" wide x 31" long. The top rail is 15" tall and flares out to 24" wide across the top of the wagon.
Finish options are unfinished as priced. You may add finish options for the wagon to be just stained, varnished, or painted. You may also select a two-step process of having it stained and then varnished.
Varnish or painted options include either two coats of a premium commercial two-part urethane exterior grade 3300 varnish or a coat of primer and a coat of paint. Select options and stain and paint colors using the drop-down boxes. The 3300 varnish provides exceptional protection and is much more expensive than regular varnishes sold in hardware stores.
Wood options include rough cut or premium grade smooth lumber. Price begins with the rough cut. The rough cut is smooth lumber that will suffice for most outdoor applications. The surface may have a few rough spots caused by blade chatter from the planner. Premium grade makes nice finished store displays or other indoor uses where you want a high-end finished look.
You may also add a galvanized metal plant liner.
Add Bushings to the Wheels. Add this option if you plan to make this a working wagon.
Add rubber tires on the wooden wheels. Use this option if you plan on rolling the carts often on pavement or solid floors to dramatically reduce the noise produced by standard metal rims.
