Now, an affordable way to have a fun pony cart without having to pay the truck freight! You supply the wood, and we provide the wagon gear and hardware.Â
The Pony Cart Kit includes the G1110 wagon running gear and all bolts, nuts, washers, brackets, eyebolts, steps, chains, and seat hardware required to build the pictured pony cart.
Priced without a tongue. Available options include a tractor pull, single miniature pony shaft, or miniature team set with neck yoke and doubletree. Additional shipping may be required for the goat or pony shaft.

Description / Pony Cart Wagon Gear and Hardware Kit

Please note: the single miniature pony shaft PS-350 will be made collapsible (bolt together at the doubletree) for UPS shipping. Â It is only available for the (AS) automobile steering wagon that uses tie rods connected to the wheels, resulting in a single center-tongue connection. The PS-350 Shaft measures approximately 71" long (50" to the doubletree), 22" wide at the doubletree, 17" wide at the shaft ends, with the wagon connector tapering down to 2" wide on the back end.
Pony Shaft designated (AS) is for the Automobile Steer, and (FW) is for the Fifth Wheel.
We can also offer a larger breed shaft in a kit, with the pipe cut and ready to weld and paint. This shaft will measure approximately 91" X 24" and requires the (AS) automobile steering option. Please email us for the shipping cost. Â

The double miniature team set includes the doubletree and neck yoke. The tongue must be made of wood (you supply). If you select fifth-wheel steering, you will also need the miniature team set & FW adapter to add your own tongue to span the width of the axle. Additional shipping may be required for the goat or pony shaft.
We also offer a goat shaft in the (AS) automobile steer option only.
As a rule of thumb, the miniature shafts will handle a pony up to 40", and the standard pony shaft will hold 50" and larger size ponies.
Sorry, we do not have detailed plans for this kit. Â You will need to build from the pictures. Click the black-and-white picture for key measurements. Â It is made of 3/4" pine boards or plywood. You may choose the optional extender bar to extend the bed 12" longer than the 60" size shown in the black and white photos.
G1110FW Complete Wagon Running Gear Kit features large 16" x 400-8 Pneumatic Tires, Load Capacity 1200 lbs. with fifth wheel steering (pictured) or automobile steering (fixed axle with tie rods to wheels) at no extra cost. It comes painted black.Â
The wheel width measures 34-1/2" outside and 25-1/2" inside (frame width, not including spindles), using standard air rubber tires for narrow barn doors. The axle shafts are 3/4" in diameter x 4" long.
The welded brackets for the main beam supports are 16" wide. The frame is made with 1-1/2" x 1/8" square tubing. The two sections connect with 3/4" tubing. The main beams then support the load and the pulling force.
The overall length is approximately 45" from the front to the back wheelbase. (The wheels extend past the actual frame front and back about 1/2 of the wheel size.) The axle shafts are 3/4" in diameter x 4" long.
An optional 12" extender bar is available, extending the length of the wagon frame by 12".
The kit does not include the seat cushion pictured. You may add one or two-seat cushions using the drop-down boxes. Cushions are only available in black.
