Care & Use Tips

• Mount your feeder in a secure location at least 4–6 feet from the ground and a few feet from large branches to reduce predator access.

• Clean the feeder every 2-3 weeks (or more often in damp weather): discharge any old seed, wipe with warm, soapy water, and rinse thoroughly. This helps keep your bird friends healthy. 

• Use nyjer seed, black-oil sunflower, or finch-specific mixes for best results.

• For enhanced viewing, place the feeder within 3–10 feet of a window so the birds aren’t startled by predators.
