A note on our new pricing and availability. New inventory arriving in January 2026 was accompanied by a substantial price increase from the manufacturer. We expect other retailers to adjust accordingly as their new inventory arrives.

There is also a shortage of the Nutrimill Classic grain mills. While most retailers are out of stock, our Amish shop continues to receive small monthly shipments that sell out quickly. New orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, but we can't provide a shipping timeline at this time. We understand that people have multiple pending orders across different sites, waiting for one to ship, then cancel and request refunds from the other merchants. We cannot recoup credit card and merchant processing fees as a small company; these add up. Therefore, a 5% cancellation fee applies if you place an order for one with us and later cancel it.

Description / Nutrimill Grain Grinder Electric or Air

Why Choose the NutriMill Grain Grinder?
Whether you’re baking homemade breads or stocking fresh whole-grain flour for long-term storage, the NutriMill Grain Grinder offers unmatched flexibility and reliability. With both electric and air-powered options, this mill is built to suit a range of lifestyles — from modern kitchens to off-grid cabins.

Two Power Options — Tailored to Your Needs

  • Electric Model (1200 W): Quick, powerful grinding — perfect when you want fresh flour fast and easy. Capable of turning grains, beans, and rice into flour in minutes.

  • Air-Powered Model: Great for off-grid living, homesteading, or emergency preparedness. Operates using compressed air (90–100 PSI, 15–30 CFM), compatible with many air tanks, wind, or water-powered compressors — ideal when electricity isn’t available.

What You Get — Built for Convenience and Longevity

  • Large 20-cup hopper: Grind enough flour at once for multiple loaves, bulk cooking, or long-term storage.

  • Self-cleaning milling chamber: Minimizes maintenance and reduces leftover flour/heavy dust — helpful if you grind frequently or switch grains.

  • Ergonomic design: Easy-grip hopper, secure lid, and control knob make operation user-friendly and straightforward.

  • Durability: Air-motor conversions use fewer parts and tend to outlast typical electric motors — a plus for continuous use or off-grid applications.

Ideal For:

  • Home bakers want freshly milled whole-grain flours (wheat, rice, beans).

  • Homesteads, cabins, or off-grid homes needing reliable, electricity-free milling.

  • Bulk cooking, food storage prep, or anyone prioritizing long shelf-life and nutritious flour.

Technical Specs:

  • 20-cup capacity hopper

  • Dimensions: 13” high × 12.75” wide

  • SKU: 760200 (electric) / 760200WA (air-powered)

  • Customizable: choose between the Electric or Air Motor model

Bonus: Using your own freshly milled flour helps you control flour freshness, nutrition, and avoid additives often found in store-bought flours — a massive win for health-conscious bakers and homesteaders alike.

Appliances have been converted by an Amish shop that specializes in sizing airpower motors to replace standard electric motors. Air motor conversions are costly, but because they use fewer parts, they will likely outlast electric motors.

You will need a substantial supply of stored compressed air to run the air-powered model. Air motors generally require 90-100 PSI and 15-30 CFMs. Some air motors running wide open can use up to 45 CFMs. Most 110V air compressors will not continuously handle this volume. Tabletop kitchen appliances generally run for only a few minutes at a time and are not like running an air motor sander continuously in a body shop. The Amish use compressed air powered by diesel-powered motors or large commercial compressors powered by generators, while some use windmills and water wheels to store air in large tanks for 24-hour use when the air is not being produced. With this stored energy outside their shops, they run air lines to the home kitchen to tap it for kitchen appliances.
