Our scaled version buckboard wagons are Amish handcrafted to provide a wonderful accent to the exterior or interior of a home, office, or retail business. Use them to add a touch of nostalgia or as functional displays in retail sales.

These buckboard wagons are made from ash, hickory, and the bottom is made of poplar. The attention to detail, down to the routed design on the box panels, is just incredible. An optional pinstripe accent can highlight this area.

Description / Miniature Buckboard Wagon Medium Size
These wagons are custom-built with each order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for shipping.
Our Medium buckboard wagon bed size measures 36" long X 18” wide and 7” high (does not include the height of the wheels). This wagon has 15" wheels on the back and 11-1/2" wheels on the front.
Price starts with the unfinished, rustic, rough-cut. As options are selected from the drop-down boxes, prices adjust incrementally in addition to the price above.
Wood options include rough-cut or premium-grade smooth lumber.
Finish options are unfinished as priced. You may add finish options for the wagon: stained, varnished, or painted. You may also select a two-step process: have it stained, then varnished.
Varnish or paint options include either two coats of a premium commercial two-part urethane exterior-grade 3300 varnish or a coat of primer followed by a coat of paint. Select options and stain and paint colors using the drop-down boxes. The 3300 varnish offers exceptional protection and is significantly more expensive than standard varnishes sold in hardware stores. The wagon in the picture has the two-tone paint upgrade.
Wood options include rough-cut or premium-grade smooth lumber. Price begins with the rough cut. The rough cut is smooth lumber that will suffice for most outdoor applications. The surface may have a few rough spots caused by blade chatter from the planner. Premium grade is ideal for finished store displays and other indoor applications where you want a high-end look.
You may select a two-tone paint color upgrade and add pin-striping. Please indicate in the comment section at checkout where you would like the two-tone color options applied to the wagon. For example, some like the wagon painted one color with the wheels left varnished. Some prefer a white wagon with red wheels, etc.
Add a Metal plant liner option. The galvanized metal liner does have drain holes at the bottom.
You may also add sleigh runners for winter fun and displays.
