Description / Long Telescoping Spray Wand-Lance
High-quality twist-and-lock fiberglass and carbon fiber telescoping poles are lightweight. A helical hose made of polyamide provides chemical resistance and a high elastic return for commercial use. A 14.5-inch-long rubber-coated handle will remind you of those used on fishing poles to reduce fatigue and provide better balance, and leverage. The spray fittings are made of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, allowing more flexibility if dropped than a hard plastic.
Rated for up to 70 PSI.
Spray from 5’ up to an extended length of 16.5 ft, allowing an average person standing on the ground to extend the spray nozzle up to 23’. Even greater heights can be obtained using a ladder or platform, such as a trailer or truck bed. It can also be used horizontally to reach out and spray aquatic weeds from a pond bank. A curved nozzle extender can be used to get into hard-to-reach places, such as along a ledge on the building.
Fully self-contained with its spray lever and nozzle. Coiled tubing extends and retracts with the spray head, so it does not get tangled around your feet.
Quickly retracts to only 52” and weighs only 2.5 lbs. for less fatigue.
This wand-lance will fit most sprayers by using the 3/8” hose barb connection (included). Smaller sprayer hoses will need to be adapted to fit the hose barb. It can be equipped with 3/8” barbed quick disconnect air hose couplings for a quick exchange from a hand wand to the telescoping pole. (These couplings are not included) (See picture) The quick disconnects are readily available and allow the use of multiple sprayers or extended length hoses. Additional air hoses to extend the reach should be marked for sprayer use only, once used to spray chemicals, and kept separate from other air hoses.
The hose barb screws on to a metric thread. There is no standard in sprayer hose connectors, so each manufacturer uses their proprietary connectors. This means that with the market being flooded with small sprayers, there is no universal connector to interchange with another sprayer or sprayer wand; thus, the hose barb has become the universal way to connect other sprayer accessories.
The company is based in the country of Spain, with 70% of parts made in Spain. The rest of the materials are imported from Taiwan and assembled in Mexico.
We found the spring-back coil tubing made it a bit difficult to extend enough length and twist the links, so we found it best to pull one section out at a time, twist and lock it, and then go to the next section.
A note about personal safety. Spraying any type of chemical mixture that is deemed harmful to humans should only be done when the winds are calm, using full PPE protection.
(In our pictures and demonstration videos, we are only spraying fresh water in a new sprayer, thus, we are not using PPE)

Note from Cottage Craft Works: We are sorry for the problems you have encountered. We believe that you discovered with your two sprayers that there is no standard in sprayer hose connectors, so each manufacturer uses its proprietary connectors. This means that with the market being flooded with small sprayers, there is no universal connector to interchange with another sprayer or sprayer wand; thus, the hose barb has become the universal way to connect other sprayer accessories.
