Will also replace 6- and 8 Qt White Mountain and Country Freezer tubs with an 11-5/8" tub diameter for the 6 Qt and a 13-1/4" diameter for the 8-Qt. The adapted tub center height will also fit White Mountain 4-Qt freezers. Some early White Mountain Freezers, made before the 70s, had a slightly wider tub and will not fit this tub.

Please note that on the 8-qt White Mountain freezers, the tub ear and tub latch may need to be adjusted or ground out to fit your freezer head, and the tub center may need to be sanded down or shimmed up to match the height of the freezer cans. These old freezers varied somewhat over the years.

Most motors drop in without issue into the 6-qt freezers. We have found that some White Mountain motors for 6-qt freezers vary and will not latch without modifying the motor ear. It seems the motors that are more of a dull blueish green, rather than the newer, brighter Kelly green, vary the most.  We have not been made aware of any problems with the older cream color motors fitting as long as the old tub is 11-5/8" in diameter for the motor to bridge across the top and fit into the tub ear and latch. The molding process for tub tops where the tub latch fits sometimes may vary enough that the motor ear sits too high for the cam latch to close. In either case, the motor ear will need to be slightly filed down to ensure the latch clears and locks the motor in place.
