Dan's Hunting Gear Briarproof Chaps are made for a wide variety of outdoor uses for serious outdoor people. Made in the USA Dan's has been making high-quality briar-proof hunting gear for many years.
Price begins with our Style 604 High-N-Dry, as additional chap styles are selected the price will incrementally add to this price. See styles and sizing down below in the description.
Please expect up to 4 weeks for shipping on these popular chaps as all sizes and styles may not be in stock at the time the order hits the shop.
Description / Hunting Briarproof Chaps

Style 604-High-N-Dry Chap- These chaps come with a waterproof liner and 24” side zipper for easy on and off, buckle fasteners for easy fastening to the belt. Color: Brown.
Style 606-Snake Protector Chaps- This chap helps protect you from those possible encounters with poisonous snakes. (Please see disclaimer below.) Comes with a side zipper for easy on and off.
Style 611-Brush Busters- These unlined chaps are made from 1000 Denier Cordura and come with a 24” leg zipper. Color: Dark Brown Only
Style 612 Summer Dog Days Chaps- Deep South briar protection to stay cool while protected in those warm muggy outings in the brush and thickets. Also, provides protection from weed eater flying debris. Mesh back, 1000 denier fronts, and vinyl-coated back with a 24" side zipper for easy on and off.
Style 61-80 Five Star Rugged Wear Chaps- 400 Denier Nylon water-resistant shell with a 200 Denier Nylon waterproof liner. A 24" side zipper for easy on and off, buckle fasteners for easy fastening to the belt. Color: Brown
Chaps Sizing
For maximum comfort, these chaps should fit loosely and should be purchased 2-3 inches shorter than your pant inseam. Measure your thigh and add about 2 inches to your measurement for a correct fit.

Snake Protection Chaps
Dan’s has been building snake protection chaps for many years with excellent results. However, Dan’s and Cottage Craft Works cannot assume liability for injury resulting from the use of this product, as protection from snakes. The wearer must assume responsibility for any injury incurred while using this product.
Return Policy
Dan’s will return and/or exchange products for a different size, color, or style as long as the product is new and has not been soiled. If a return is sent to Dan’s it will be inspected and only then approved by Dan’s as a return or exchange. Dan’s will not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
Warranty Policy
Dan’s does warrant their products for any defects and workmanship flaws. The product must be sent back to Dan’s for inspection. However, Dan’s will not warranty product that has been abused or has more than normal wear and tear. On defective products, Dan’s will either replace or repair the gear.
Custom Order Policy
Please e-mail us with any custom needs. Dan’s will custom-make clothing for as little as $15. Additional cost. Custom orders are not returnable. Custom orders can generally be completed in 4-6 weeks. However, during the peak times of the year such as the Christmas Holiday season extra time will need to be added, so please order early before November.
