Made from ¾″ recycled poly lumber (from plastic bottles), the material is fully color-impregnated during manufacturing, so scratches or gouges won’t reveal a different core color — retaining over 95% of its original hue even after years in sun and snow.

• Clean out the house each fall after the nesting season; thanks to the poly surface, debris washes off easily with a hose or soap and water.

• Monitor for activity in early spring; wrens often reuse existing cavities, so leaving it in place encourages annual occupancy.
