These are the available frog-leg options for the different boots listed below.

685-Dan's "Five Star Chap"- Heavy-duty protection when the last thing you want is soaked or scratched legs. Perfect for tall wet grass and swampland. Rugged nylon chaps will keep you high and dry. Waterproof lining and double-stitched seams sewn and sealed to the boot. A nylon strap with a 3/4" buckle easily attaches to your belt.

665-Dan’s Brush Buster Chap- Tougher and longer-lasting but also a little heavier and not as flexible. The outer layer of 1000 Denier Cordura is twice as thick and more rigid than our lightweight briar chap, with adjustable straps and snaps. We sew and seal them to the boots of your choice.  

663-Dan’s Snake Protector Chap- Snake protector chaps are made of the same rigid material as the Brush Busters but come with a triple layer to help give protection from the snakes. Comes with adjustable straps and snaps and is sewn and sealed to the boots of your choice. Dan’s or Cottage Craft Works cannot assume liability for injury from the use of this product for protection from snakes.

To determine your size, measure around your jeans at the upper thigh, then add 2” or 3” to that measurement. For inseam, go 2” to 3” shorter than your normal inseam: We recommend 3” shorter. If you are between sizes, most people choose the shorter length.

Custom Sizes for frog legs: For an additional $15, Dan’s will custom-make Leggins to sizes not listed, but only if you understand and agree that they are custom-made, one-of-a-kind orders and cannot be exchanged. For all custom orders, please provide your actual inseam, thigh, and calf measurements. Please add this information in the comment box at checkout.

Our boot sizing recommendations work for most people; however, due to higher arches, insteps, and wider or narrower feet, these guidelines may not apply to everyone. If you have never worn the boots before, we recommend ordering them first to ensure they fit, then placing your custom Frog legs order.

Dan’s Frog legs

DAN’S FROG LEGS are constructed with an outer layer of stout material lined with highly water-repellent nylon to prevent moisture from getting through, and they easily turn briars. The nylon extends to the lower ankle, protecting the boots and your legs from sharp sticks and briars. They are carefully made, then sewn and sealed to the shoes of your choice.

DAN’S FROG LEGS can be attached to your belt using the adjustable straps, or folded down and snapped at your knees using the snaps on the leggings and boots.

Snake Protection Chaps

Dan’s has been building snake protection chaps for many years with excellent results. However, Dan’s and Cottage Craft Works cannot assume liability for injury resulting from the use of this product for protection from snakes. The wearer must take responsibility for any injury incurred while using this product.

Return Policy

Dan’s will accept returns and/or exchanges for products of a different size, color, or style, provided the product is new and not soiled.  If a return is sent to Dan’s it will be inspected and only then approved by Dan’s as a return or exchange. Dan’s will not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Warranty Policy

Dan’s does warrant their products against any defects and workmanship flaws. The product must be sent back to Dan’s for inspection. However, Dan’s will not warranty a product that has been abused or has more than normal wear and tear.  For defective products, Dan’s will either replace or repair the gear.

Custom Order Policy

Please e-mail us with any custom needs.  Dan’s will custom-make clothing for as little as $15, with additional cost. Custom orders are not returnable. Custom orders typically take 6-8 weeks to complete. However, during peak times of the year, such as the Christmas Holiday season, additional time will be required; please order before November.
