Since 1935, our 3rd-generation Amish-owned shop has been distributing quality farrier products to farrier shops, individuals, and dealers across the USA. In his quest to provide high-quality, affordable farrier tools, our Amish shop owner decided to develop his own line. Basic brand farrier tools are manufactured and imported under strict quality-control standards for long-term use in Amish sustainable living communities.

In 1935, David L Schwartz opened his blacksmith shop in Indiana. Over the years, he became a pioneer in many of the farrier products used today.
