Widely used by the Amish and draft horse enthusiasts, ideal for a gravity bed box, preventing the box from shifting or cracking. Reduces wagon bed warping, fatigue, and tip-overs, preventing grain or load loss and making wagons safer to use. Available in a set of four in capacities of 2,500 lbs., 3500 lbs., and 6,000 lbs.

Description / Farm Wagon Bed Bolster Springs
Price starts with the 2500 lb. set and increases incrementally as larger sizes are selected.
Amish quality USA-made double coil bolster, spring, and socket assemblies are made to slide over tubular farm wagon axles up to 3-3/4” wide. They fit just under the bed's outside corner. Heavy angle iron bolts to the wagon bed, and the chain fastens under the axle to prevent it from lifting off the axle. The strength and size of the coil springs are engineered for the different weight sizes. Replaces the need to attach the bed to fixed, welded wagon gear frame beam brackets. These units will only raise the wagon bed a few inches.
Spring sockets are equipped with grease zerks and require periodic greasing to prevent squeaking.
Note: The wagon will require a fixed front axle with automobile-style tie-rod steering. These will not work on a fifth-wheel-style wagon tongue, where the front axle must turn under the bed.
