Build or restore farm wagons and agriculture implements with our Amish made-in-the-USA wagon hardware, spindles, and automobile-style steering assemblies.

Finish your wagon using these machined parts to fabricate or restore farm wagons and AG implements. Most farm and AG shops are equipped with the tools to weld straight iron, but not the machined parts for the axles, wheels, and steering components.

Priced a la carte, using the drop-down boxes. Select the parts needed and the prices will incrementally add for each part(s) selected. To select more than one part in the same drop-down box, select one to add to the cart, and then select continue shopping to add more parts. To deselect click on the "Please Select" again.

Description / Farm Wagon Auto Steering-Spindle Parts

It would be data-prohibitive to list each part with shipping. Therefore, shipping & handling are based on an average purchase of a few parts. If you need a small item that can ship USPS, contact us. We charge a minimum $12 flat rate on all items, regardless of size. This covers the cost to process, pack, and drop-ship, as well as the actual shipping charges.

Additional shipping charges may apply to larger orders. If you also need the bolster and tie rods, then additional shipping may be required. We send you an invoice if needed.

Wagon gear hardware is designed for Amish farms that still use horse-drawn implements and is modernized for standard roller-bearing wheel hubs.

The references to a right or left orientation are based on standing at the rear of the wagon and looking forward. Note that these spindles are made for front operating tie rods. Order in reverse if ordering a rear tie-rod wagon assembly.

1-3/4” rear spindles and “L” shape front spindles for use on our tie rod automobile-style steering assemblies fit standard 6-bolt AG roller bearing hubs.

We receive ongoing calls looking for spindles and parts for old farm wagons that haven't been built for decades. The parts listed here are designed for the Amish-built Reliable farm wagons. As far as we know, we are the only ones offering replacement parts for wagons. Most are ordering and modifying to fit other old brands. It would be cost-prohibitive to custom-make parts. Actions such as ordering spindle tubes, cutting off the old ones to fit these spindles, and lengthening or shortening the tie rods may be the only options to restore an older farm wagon to service. Consideration also needs to be given to hubs and wheels. The hubs we sell are for 6-bolt agricultural wheels, and we do not have any others available. Measured shop drawings for the hubs and spindles are shown in the images. Print PDFs are also available below, located just above the shipping estimator.

Spindles and hubs are very heavy to ship and may roll out of the packaging, causing bumps and chipping the paint. International Harvester Red paint is a good option for touch-up or repainting modifications.

Parts Available:

Rear Spindle 1-3/4” 68-117, fits standard 1437A and 342A roller bearings.

It has a 5/8" x 11 hole for tie rod attachment. This hole is 6" center to center of the 1-3/4" spindle.  Note: L or R is determined by standing behind the wagon and looking forward.

C-Iron Tongue end, 2020, fits the 68-105 hitch with a flat weld area to make your own tractor pull tongue. Fits a 4" wide hitch.

H-Iron Tongue end 68-131 also fits on the 68-105 hitch and allows a wooden tongue beam to be bolted on. Fits a 4" wide hitch.

Hitch and Tongue bolt 68-106, uses two of them for the bolster and tongue side. (3/4" x 7")

Complete 7/8" tie rod 68-102 attaches to the 68-105 hitch in the center and to the front “L” spindles at the ends. The rod ends Measure 26-1/2" from the center hole to the end of the adjustable blocks. Drilled for a 5/8" x 3" kingpin and block attachments to spindles.

Tie Rod end blocks 68-103 and center block 68-101-CB (center block not pictured) allow you to make your own tie rods using either 7/8" or 3/4" rod stock threaded on each end with 16 threads. Drilled for a 5/8" bolt with a grease zerk. The Center block will need to be welded to the tie rod stock and allow the tie rod to bolt to the 68-105 hitch.
