Description / EZ Rider Buggy, Carriage Leaf Springs, 36 Inch
Leaf springs are not specifically rated for a maximum weight capacity; rather, they are rated by the load required to compress them. At 130 lbs., the spring should be expected to compress 1”; at 265 lbs., 2”; and at 400 lbs., 3”.
Springs are powder-coated with a zinc-rich primer, followed by a gloss-black topcoat. This powder-coating combination has proven to be much more durable than a traditional powder-coat finish, providing better rust protection.
Installation of buggy or wagon springs and axles may not be for the novice builder, as proper alignment of spindles and wheels is critical so that they run true and do not produce uneven wear or a dangerous operating condition.
We also carry the wooden spring bars, axle caps, and head blocks that will fit these springs.
