This Amish-made ice cream mix has been a favorite mix for the Country 20-qt freezer owners for decades. Some are using Stevia in place of sugar to make reduced-calorie ice cream. The mix has a long shelf life of up to 8 months when stored in a cool place or longer frozen. Some have stored it for up to 2 years frozen.

Contains: milk soy and dry eggs

Ingredients: sugar, non-fat milk, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, color (yellow 5 & 6, red 40, blue 1), dried whole eggs, dextrose, modified corn starch, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, disodium phosphate, emulsifier (monoglycerides), salt, soy lecithin, natural and artificial flavor, maltodextrin

To Make a five-gallon mix:

28-ounce ice cream mix
6-1/4 cup white sugar
2-1/2 gal. milk
5 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons vanilla
