Five-section carriage leaf springs were made for horse-drawn people haulers as well as wagons. Available with or without poly liners between each leaf to reduce friction, wear, and noise for hauling people or without the liner for general wagon use.

Description / Carriage Leaf Springs, 36 Inch
Springs are not rated for a maximum weight capacity; rather, they are rated by the load required to compress them. At 155 lbs., the spring should be expected to compress 1”; at 310 lbs., 2”; and at 465 lbs., 3”.
Springs are powder-coated with a zinc-rich primer, followed by a gloss-black topcoat. This powder-coating combination has proven to be much more durable than a traditional powder-coat finish, providing better rust protection.
Installing buggy or wagon springs and axles may not be suitable for a novice builder, as proper alignment of spindles and wheels is critical to ensure they run true and do not cause uneven wear or create a dangerous operating condition.
