Five section carriage leaf springs made for horse-drawn people haulers as well as wagons. Available with or without poly liners between each leaf to reduce friction, wear, and noise for hauling people or without the liner for general wagon use.

Description / Carriage Leaf Springs, 36 Inch
Springs are not specifically rated for a maximum weight capacity rather they are rated based on the amount of weight it takes to compress the springs. At 155 lbs. the spring should be expected to compress 1”, at 310 lbs. 2 inches, and at 465 lbs. 3”.
Springs are powder coated with a primer coat of zinc-rich primer applied and then a gloss black topcoat. This combination of powder coating has proven much more durable over a traditional powder coat finish to provide rust protection.
Installation of buggy or wagon springs and axles may not be for the novice builder as proper alignment of spindles and wheels is critical so that they run true and do not produce uneven wear or create a dangerous operating condition.
We also carry the wooden spring bars, axle caps, and head blocks that will fit these springs.
