Tuck undercarriage fiberglass battery box for 12-volt automotive batteries up to Group Size 27. Made in the USA by an Amish company for 12-volt power to light carriages, buggies, and other horse-drawn vehicles. Mounts under the carriage to save valuable cargo space.
Available either as a floor access model #101-P, measured inside 12-1/2” x 7” x 9-1/2” high, or a side door access model #102-P, 14-1/2” long x 7-1/2” wide x 12” high.

Mounts under the floorboard or bed, just like antique trucks and pickups were once installed.
Mounting flange to mount in-floor access for #101-P or model #102-P with a door for outside access. The battery boxes are made of non-conductive fiberglass, but will require battery terminal protection on top. Venting will need to be installed to prevent the buildup of explosive gases, especially with model #101-P when installed with a tight-fitting floor hatch or when covered with carpet or floor-mounted components. Small, round, louvered screened soffit vents work well for this type of venting.
