A popular buggy leaf spring used to build horse-drawn buggies, wagons, and equipment. Commonly installed across axle installations, but may also be installed as a pair on each side of the vehicle.
36” x 1-1/4” W x 11” T, five-section leaf Buggy Springs. Priced as a single spring assembly; order two springs for a set.
Springs are not specifically rated for a maximum weight capacity; rather, they are rated by the amount of weight required to compress them. At 126 lbs., the spring should be expected to compress 1”; at 246 lbs., 2”; and at 355 lbs., 3”.

Description / Buggy Leaf Springs, 36 Inch
Springs are powder coated with a primer coat of zinc-rich primer applied and then a gloss black topcoat. This combination of powder coating has proven much more durable over a traditional powder coat finish to provide rust protection.
The installation of buggy or wagon springs and axles may not be for the novice builder as proper alignment of spindles and wheels is very critical so that they run true and do not produce uneven wear or dangerous conditions.
