The main difference is that they use Dan’s 420 denier briarproof nylon. This is a 1.5 oz solvent-based coating that provides greater water resistance and the rugged durability that has also made Dan’s Hunting Gear very popular.
 
This versatile insulated coat will keep you out and moving through the toughest green briars without snagging.  It will last you a lifetime!
 
It is still an American-made product.
 
Waist-length coat features two large cargo pockets on the outside, two chest pockets, and two fleece-lined warmer pockets. Inside, you will find two security pockets with zipper closures, ideal for your cell phone, electronic devices, and wallet. Inserted ribbing cuffs, and a soft duck collar for comfort and style.
 
Provides a roomy pleated fit that will not hinder your mobility.
 
The Briar Boss is constructed with a heavy-duty #10 YKK zipper with storm flap, double stitching, and rivets at all stress points. Snaps and D-rings are provided for the option of an attachable matching hood and game bag.

Dan’s coats are all made in the USA using original American-made patterns. Therefore, the coats are slightly larger than those from overseas. Please keep this in mind when ordering a coat. Make selections using the drop-down boxes.

These waterproof hoods snap onto all the Dans coats we sell.

Waterproof game bags are ideal for carrying rabbits, coon, or any small hunting gear. (Size 14 x 22) Color options are brown and orange. Or choose the EZ-Load or Rugged Game Bag. Except for the Rugged style, game bags are offered in brown or orange allowing you to add some orange to the coat when you are actually hunting. EZ-Load Game Bag pictured on a camo coat, which is not available in the Briar Boss Coat.
 

The EZ-Load game bag also attaches to the back of the coat's D-Rings and provides a wraparound, front-loading design.

Return Policy
 
Dan’s will accept returns and/or exchanges for a different size, color, or style, provided the product is new and not soiled.  If a return is sent to Dan’s it will be inspected and only then approved by Dan’s as a return or exchange. Dan’s will not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders.  The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
 
Warranty Policy
 
Dan’s warrants their products against any defects and workmanship flaws. The product must be sent back to Dan’s for inspection. However, Dan’s will not warranty a product that has been abused or has more than normal wear and tear.  On defective products, Dan’s will either replace or repair the gear.
 
Custom Order Policy
 
Please email us with any custom needs. Dan’s will custom-make clothing with as little as $15 additional cost. Custom orders are not returnable.  Custom orders can generally be completed in around 2-3 weeks. However, during peak times of the year, such as the Christmas Holiday season, additional time will be required, so please order before November.
