Description / All Metal Horse Drawn Shovel Harrow
The ratchet handles quickly adjust the width of the cultivator shovels without tools—no need to stop, unbolt, and reattach shovels to complete the garden planting season.
Extra-long shovels are designed to reach deep into the soil and cultivate weeds that regenerate roots. The balanced weight is appropriately sized for easy maneuvering but heavy enough to sink the shovels into the subsoil.
It includes a single tree.
Ships oversized dimensional weight, some assembly required.
FedEx and UPS now use algorithms that apply surcharges to specific locations, which are not always reflected in the shipping calculator. For the most part, the shipping calculator is accurate, but occasionally, we find that shipping to some Western states results in unexpected shipping rates. If this is the case, we may need to contact the customer for additional shipping.
Cultivators ship from an Amish shop without phones or faxes. We will let you know when the cultivator ships UPS using an old-fashioned mail-order manual system. We will not have electronic tracking numbers to update your order. Let us know if you do not receive it within 10 days of the ship date we provide, as the shop can track it manually.
As we continually search for cost-effective shipping, downsizing box sizes has become necessary to avoid costly surcharges imposed by all carriers. The welded crosspiece on the handles has been replaced with a bolt-on bar to allow the handles to collapse into a thinner box. The metal parts are sharp and bulky. The only way to fully protect all surfaces would be to ship on a pallet truck or by freight, or to pack in a large box with additional Styrofoam packaging. Either way, it would be cost-prohibitive, as shipping is already expensive. Therefore, it is not uncommon for cultivators to arrive with some rubbed edges and cosmetic paint scratches. This does not constitute damage. If you would prefer the full welded handle and/or one without potential scratches, you can pick them up in Lancaster County, PA, or we can provide a shipping quote to ship on a pallet.
