36 Inch Wooden Spoke Hub Wagon Wheel

Please expect 2-4 weeks.

The Axle diameter is 7/16”, and the hub is 6” wide, made of ash and easily bored out to larger-size axles if needed. The wheel rounds are made of steam-bent hickory with 1-1/8” hickory spokes. Equipped with a 3/16” thick metal tire measuring 1-1/4” wide.

Each wheel will hold approximately 250 lb.

We do have the same wheel in 40” size, but the shipping is at the threshold in size, where the shipping cost doubles. Contact us if you need more than one, as truck freight may be more cost-effective for a set.

We also have a heavy-duty wagon wheel in sizes of 42”, 48”, and 54” for up to 350 lbs. per wheel. Axle diameter 1-1/4” with 8” wide hubs. Wheel iron thickness ¼” x 2” wide. These will also need to be bored out and equipped with metal bushings if used as working wagon wheels. Contact us for pricing and freight costs.

These wheels are structurally as strong as the authentic wood-spoke wheels. They will be rougher-grade wood, more suitable for ornamental and rustic applications than for a premium-grade furniture stain-and-varnish project. You may need to add filler in some areas and perform additional sanding if you plan to paint or finish them.
