Wagon Box Metal Hardware Kit

Save on high shipping costs. The USA Amish-made metal hardware kit is identical to the hardware used on the box wagons being built at this popular wagon shop. Build your own wagon box with locally obtained lumber. The Amish use standard poplar wood available at most home centers.

Kit includes the reinforced metal brace brackets used on the side of the wagon, the metal brackets used on the footrest at the front of the wagon, and four cross rods, including two for the front and two for the back. The rods include threaded ends with metal endplates. Select 38” or 42” box size for the correct rods. (Sorry, no plans, this is just hard to find metal hardware)

Description / Wagon Box Metal Hardware Kit

The rods include threaded ends with metal endplates. Select 38” or 42” box size for the correct rods.  

The kit also includes side irons for securing the box to the front and back. The side irons are the metal bars running down the front and back corners of the wagon box and bolt through the cross board that runs under the front and back edges of the wagon box.
 
Due to the various wood thicknesses used in the wagon box, bolts and nuts are not included in the hardware kit.  No bolts or hardware are included to fasten the box to the running gear. There are also no plans to build the included wagon box.

For the wagon seat hardware, you can purchase it under our authentic wagon seat hardware kit.
 
Metal parts come unpainted.
 
Kits are made and shipped from a working Amish wagon-building shop. Parts are made on an as-needed basis and may not be in stock for immediate shipping. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the parts kit to ship.
