Description / Purple Martin Info Wall Calendar
This calendar was assembled by the Andrew Troyer family, who are well-known, respected experts in purple martin research and development of sustainable purple martin colonies and housing.
You won’t find online research, as the Troyers are Amish and have published many books on purple martins, as well as manufacture purple martin housing and products.
Spiral-bound 8 x 11 pages of calendar sheets and pictures for each month of the year, renewed each January for the new year. Pictured as 2020, you will be sent the upcoming year as soon as it is available if you order within or after the 4th quarter of October-December of the previous year. If you order for January-September, you will receive the current year.
Note: While the Troyer family doesn’t recommend capturing and holding purple martins, as shown in some of the pictures, the images they do show are part of ongoing research and banding to track patterns in purple martin colonies.
