The lever slide clutch makes it easy to engage the freezer. The heavy-duty gearbox uses a belt and pulley to drive the freezer pulley, with a clear Plexiglass shield on the outside to keep curious fingers away.

The tub is hinged for easy tip-over to remove ice.

Choose between a finished oak bed with the traditional oak tub or a recycled poly wagon bed with a poly tub (pictured). The poly bed and tub are popular for their leak-proof design and resistance to spilled water, especially salt water, keeping the finish looking like new.

The tub is 21" H x 17-5/8" top diameter x 15-5/8" bottom diameter.

The total height of the machine is 30-3/4". Stainless Steel Can measure 9-1/4” Diameter x 17-7/8” tall and holds approximately 5.1 gallons of liquid. Most people will make 4 to 4-1/2 gallons of ice cream, so it does not overflow. On average 2 gallons of mix makes 4 gallons of ice cream.

Generally, ice cream takes 15 to 45 minutes, depending on factors such as whether it's the first batch or a repeat, the recipe, and other variables.

Note: The Country 20-qt freezer complies with NSF/ANSI 2 and is certified by NSF International. The NSF stamp is no longer required on the parts; therefore, there is no longer an additional fee. If needed, we can obtain a copy of the NSF certification for commercial applications.

The freezer must be shipped by truck freight and is priced F.O.B. Use the drop-down box to request an actual quote or select F.O.B. if you will pick it up in PA. You can expect to spend between $ 400 and $700, depending on the delivery type. 

The unit will come with grease in the gear frame. Use the drop-down box at the top of the page to add a 14-oz tube of food-grade grease for the gearbox for ongoing lubrication. The tube fits a regular grease gun.

The angle gearbox also comes with oil in the unit. It is an industrial-grade unit and will likely not require new oil unless it leaks or is used daily. It uses 18 oz. Of 80W90 gear oil or Mobil SHC 634 Oil
