Runs approximately 16 continuous hours on high and 24 continuous hours on low using one 5AH (amp-hour) battery. Lower amp hour batteries will run shorter times. Run times are also contingent on usage, battery age, and charge levels. Low battery shutoff.
A separate battery charging station will be needed. Most tool batteries already come with the charging station. The Amish use multi-battery packs and solar power charging stations to fulfill sewing needs.
Powerpack battery is not included, (pictured only for demonstration). Newer 5 AH or higher (Amp Hour) rated batteries are recommended for maximum run times. Amp Hour batteries such as 1.5AH, 3AH, 4AH, 5AH, 6AH, 9AH & 12AH may also be used but run times will be shorter with the lower Amp Hours and slightly higher with the higher Amp Hour batteries. For example, a 3 AH battery would power a product for exactly half if a 6 AH battery.
Available with docking station for either Makita, Milwaukee 18 volt, or Dewalt 20V battery packs. Select the battery type using the drop-down boxes. Your Hand-D-Fan will then only work with the selected battery pack.
An optional 20V AC adapter is available, select using the drop-down box.
Cottage Craft Works goes deep into the Amish communities to find unique practical products being made and used by the self-sufficient Amish communities that would benefit non-Amish populations trying to become less dependent on grid power.
