Hand Crank Conversion Kitchen Aid Mixer
Once again available! Features faster gearing than before for higher-speed whipping!
For our customers who still prefer a Kitchen Aid mixer and still want to be off-grid, your wait is over!
Description / Hand Crank Conversion Kitchen Aid Mixer
It functions just like the electric mixer. The creative adjustable crank handle allows you to adjust the speed, so you do not have to speed up cranking for whipping. Simply loosen the black set screw on the end of the crank and adjust the handle speed for whipping creams, and sauces, or slow the speed down for bread doughs and cookie mixes.
This has also become a popular mixer for Dutch oven cook-off teams as well as restaurants using it at tableside to whip up desserts and making nitrogen frozen ice cream.
The mixers are purchased new and then the inside parts are completely removed and replaced with Amish machined quality gear and drive sets. Each of the gear sets is handmade one at a time plus the labor to convert a mixer is the reason they are a bit pricey. With no electric motor to wear out, the conversion mixer should last for generations.
Please note: In the conversion and gearing configuration for the hand crank the top docking port for the added Kitchen Aid attachments is no longer a working feature of this mixer. Yes, this is disappointing if you have all the attachments. If you just use it for making bread, whipping egg whites, or using the flat beater for cookies, this mixer is an excellent off-grid alternative.
