Since 1935, our 3rd-generation Amish-owned shop has been distributing quality farrier products to farrier shops, individuals, and dealers across the USA. Many purchasers are small horseshoeing shops or individuals who need high-quality tools but cannot justify paying top dollar for the same level of quality that other companies charge.
In his quest to provide high-quality, affordable farrier tools, our Amish shop owner decided to develop his own line. Basic brand farrier tools are manufactured and imported under strict quality-control standards for long-term use in Amish sustainable living communities.
The Amish still rely heavily on horses for transportation and farming. Essential horse and hoof care is second nature to the Amish. Their self-sufficiency cannot be compromised by horseshoeing tools that fail when crops need to be worked.
In 1935, David L Schwartz opened his blacksmith shop in Indiana. Over the years, he became a pioneer in many of the farrier products used today. Now in its 3rd generation, the Schwartz family continues its legacy as the 4th generation prepares to take the farrier business forward. The Schwartz family is an expert in quality farrier products.
