Buggy, Carriage, Wagon, Leaf Spring U-Bolts-Clip Hardware

Axle and spring clips (U-Bolts) are used to mount buggy, carriage, and wagon leaf springs to the wagon box and running gear. Use with our buggy, carriage, wagon, leaf springs, and mounting wood.

Note: Shipping rates are based on the assumption that several clips and nuts are required to complete a project. If larger quantities are needed, we may need to contact you for additional shipping costs.

Available Hardware

To determine the bolt length, consider the overall thickness of the spring, wood mounting bars, and, if the springs are equipped with poly spacers between the spring leaves, the additional 1-16” -1/8” per leaf. 

Spring and Axle Clips use 5-/16” zinc-plated square nuts. After selecting the clips added to the shopping cart, return to the shopping cart to choose nuts and quantity using the drop-down box.

Zinc-plated parts will be silver, and powder-coated parts will be black.

Axle Clip Bars

Flat bars that span the axles and accept straight bolts are primarily used to attach the fifth-wheel assembly.  Measured between the holes, i.e., a 1” will fit over a 1” axle
